A.   TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BUYING A TICKET OF PRODUCT

1.         Please note we may change prices.  For events, we might also adapt seating areas or limit the availability of concessions and discounts. Please ask about concessions and discounts at the time of booking as they cannot be applied later.

1.2.      Whenever we can, we will offer concessions for both classes and performances.  Availability of discount rates is always limited, and we can stop offering them at any time. You can’t combine different discounts or apply them retrospectively.

When concessions are available they will be offered to:

  • Over 60s
  • Students
  • People with disabilities – see below for our access offer
  • People on Universal Credit
  • Emergency services workers
  • NHS and social care sector workers
  • Armed forces

Please bring a valid ID with you on the day and (to save any mix-ups) please double-check your tickets and confirmations

1.3.      Occasionally there will be a Special Offer or Community Offer available for tickets.  The terms and conditions will be explained as they relate to the offer.  Offers cannot be combined with other concession prices.

1.4.      To protect everyone from ticket touts, we don’t allow the resale of our event or class tickets for private commercial gain.  Tickets are sold for use by the buyer and their party. We can cancel tickets if there’s any breach of this condition, and refuse entry without refund. For your own peace of mind, please only buy from official outlets – which is directly from us or from one of our approved agents.

1.5.      All information is correct at point of sale.  On rare occasions it may be necessary to change the published detail of the event or class, including event times and advertised performers or tutors, without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

1.6.      In the case of unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary to change your seat allocation for a performance.  We will inform you at the earliest opportunity but will not be obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

Payment

2.1.      We accept most major credit and debit cards.  After payment, we’ll send you an email confirmation.  We don’t accept Theatre Tokens.

2.2.      Some of our participating venues may add a transaction charge when you book an event. This covers administration costs and enables us to continue offering a dedicated booking service. We will be clear about any charges at the point of sale.

2.3.      Some participating venues box offices may have charges for calls. Please check with the venue website.

Refunds and exchanges

3.         Tickets cannot be exchanged/refunded by us after purchase unless the performance or class is cancelled or reschedule by us or the venue or promoter.  If an event or class is cancelled or rescheduled, or where there is a material change to the programme of the event you will be entitled to claim a full refund in accordance with this clause.

3.1.      A ‘material’ change is a change which, in our reasonable opinion, makes the event materially different to the event or class that was advertised.  This would unlikely to be considered if the change was that of a class tutor.

3.2.      Ticket exchange because of a ‘material’ change can only be offered where an event or class has more than one performance or experience, providing the event does not have a limited capacity. The request to exchange must be brought to our attention as soon as possible prior to the event and is subject to availability.  In case that no onward places are available, this does not mean that you are entitled to a refund.

3.3.      In exceptional circumstances a refund may be carried out at our discretion where a ticket exchange cannot be made possible.

3.4.      Exchanges and refunds shall only be made to the person who purchased the ticket(s) and, when possible, be made using the same method as was used to purchase the tickets except, at our discretion, where payment was made by cash.
