Financial Information 2018-19 – Dance Generation

The DanceXchange Centre for Advanced Dance Training is supported by the governments Department for Education (DfE) as part of their national Music and Dance Scheme. The fee structure for the programme is set nationally by the DfE.

The full cost of the training programme is £3,686 per year*

We have a number of grant assisted places on the programme available to cover all or some of the costs of tuition. Students who pass the audition and are offered a place on the training course may be able to apply for one of these grants, this support is means tested and based upon parental/guardian income.

Students who have an annual household income of less that £30,227 will receive a full grant, the fees for students with an annual household income in excess of £30,227 are required to make a contribution to fees charged on a rising scale related to income. Before assessing your household income, £2,051 will be deducted from the final total for each child living who you as a dependent (including the child enrolling on the course).

Each student regardless of their grant status receives a Home Training Bursary of £10 per week for 33 weeks of the year or a maximum of £330. This money is used to pay for additional training identified by the Subject Leader and student for their Individual Training Plan.
