Emma trained at The Hammond School enjoying a diverse dance education in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap and Spanish dance. Wishing to specialise in contemporary dance and ballet and develop herself as an artist and choreographer, she then went on to train at LABAN and graduated in 2012 with a BA Hons Degree in Dance Theatre.
Emma has enjoyed a varied performing career from TV to the theatre, ballet and independent projects. In 2017 she graduated from the Royal Academy Dance’s Professional Dancers’ Teaching Diploma, passing with Distinction. Since then, she has worked as an Associate Lecturer in Dance for the University of Surrey and as the Head of Contemporary Dance and Choreography at The School of Ballet Theatre UK. She now freelances regularly for The Royal Academy of Dance, Italia Conti and The DanceXchange alongside running her own Midlands-based dance school.
