Web Developer Required
DanceXchange is looking to appoint a web developer to refresh our current website in the following areas:
- Homepage
- site navigation
- two subsites for Birmingham International Dance Festival (BIDF) and Birmingham Pro Class, to be created using an already existing site which we manage.
Our main aim is to create a clearer and more effective navigation from our homepage, using our current content management system WordPress. The new homepage and navigation will need to integrate with the current visual style of the website, although there is some opportunity to update the style depending on the discussions during the development stage.
The website and subsites also need to integrate fully with our ticketing platform which is provided by Ticketsolve.
In addition, we would like to work with a company which can offer:
- a hosting facility
- an ongoing relationship advising on digital matters and, as far as is reasonable, future proofing our investment.
This is not an essential requirement and we will consider proposals for the redesign alone. A fee for hosting and tech support will be subject to additional negotiations.
Delivery Timescale: The main website and Pro Class website will launch by mid -September 2020 an the BIDF subsite must be live by October 2020.
For detailed information and requirements, along with submission details and selection criteria, please download our full Tender document and Wireframe.
If you have any questions about this opportunity email libby.aldrich@dx.dance
- Deadline for submission: 10am Monday 20 July
- Interviews: If shortlisted you will be invited to a video interview between 23 July & 29 July 2020
Proposals are welcome from individuals, groups or independent agencies with appropriate expertise. We will not accept proposals through recruitment agencies – you should apply directly. dx is committed to equal opportunities and welcomes proposals from all sections of the community.
