DanceXchange is looking for a motivated and energetic Project Manager to join our Festival Production team, to help us deliver our vision for Birmingham International Dance Festival (BIDF) in 2018.
Birmingham International Dance Festival is an award-winning biennial celebration of dance and one of Europe’s largest dance festivals. It will take over Birmingham’s theatres and public spaces for three weeks from 1-24 June 2018, enlivening the city, inspiring audiences, and creating lots of opportunities for people to take part.
The Project Manager will have responsibility for specific performances and participatory projects, workshops and professional development events. You will have a good knowledge of the West Midlands dance sector and a minimum of three years’ experience in contemporary performance, including successful delivery of participatory projects. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, strong self-motivation and organisational skills, and the ability to manage a complex portfolio, working to tight deadlines and within budget constraints.
