YUVA gati cat open day

Kathak or Bharatanatyam

Join us for a FREE Centre for Advanced Training / Yuva Gati open day on:

Saturday 18 May  2019, 11am -1.30pm

Yuva Gati Open Day is a perfect opportunity for talented young people aged 11 – 16 years to take part in Kathak & Bharatanatyam technique and creative workshops.

The day will also include:

  • Sharing information about the national South Asian dance strand of the CAT programme and how the training works
  • Means-tested bursary from the Department of Education for talented children who are unable to join the programme due to financial difficulties
  • An opportunity to meet the CAT team and ask any questions about the programme
  • A chance to see our high quality, purpose-built studios and facilities

We highly recommend that you attend this open day if you are interested in joining the audition for the new term starting in September 2019.

You don’t have to have previous experience of learning Kathak or Bharatanatyam but if you do, that would be great! Just come with an open mind and bring plenty of enthusiasm and passion to learn.

If you would like to attend the Yuva Gati Open day – please write to Alexandra Henwood to book your place cat@dx.dance

Please note places are limited so they will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Yuva Gati, meaning ‘Youth Movement’ is the national South Asian dance strand of the Centre for Advanced Training programme delivered by DanceXchange in partnership with Sampad Arts and Heritage.
