Laura Vanhulle

Contemporary and Ballet Teacher

CADT Subject Leader

Originally from Belgium, I started training in Rhythmic gymnastics at a very young age. I started at Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD) where I achieved a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance. I’ve worked with Ace Dance and Music, Shobana Jeyasingh, Coda DanceTheatre, Keneish Dance Theatre, Motionhouse, Rutherford Dance Company, Room 2 Manoeuvre and Aakash Odedra.

I am still working closely with Sonia Sabri Company  and Autin Dance Theatre. I received funding from Art Council England for my first R&D in 2013, then in 2014 I set up my own dance company, ‘Vanhulle Dance Theatre’, to which I created a full production “Angles In Life”, to which I collaborated with Mickael Marso Riviere and Nicolas Vlasyslav.

I recently joined The Van-L Dance Company where I will work with Vangelis Lengalis in Hong Kong. I have also started working on a brand new solo work “Infinite Womanhood”.
