News U.Dance Raw Energy 2012 - November application deadline

This year’s regional U.Dance Raw Energy platform will take place at DanceXchange's studio theatre The Patrick Centre on 19 February 2012*

Encompassing a range of dance styles and inspiration for work, U.Dance Raw Energy will be a celebration of the youth dance work happening across the West Midlands. We are delighted to now be accepting applications from youth dance companies in the region to perform.

The event will serve as a selection platform for groups wishing to perform at U.Dance 2012, 13 - 16 July. Youth Dance England is working with Southbank Centre, DU : Dance in Northern Ireland, National Youth Dance Wales and YDance (Scottish Youth Dance) and its nine Regional Partner Organisations, to create an exciting dance performance programme for young people aged 11 to 19 (and disabled young people up to the age of 24).  Visit www.u-dance.org for more information.

One group will be selected to go on to perform at U.Dance 2012 at the Southbank Centre in London. To apply to perform please download and complete an application form and return by 30 November 2011, 5pm
