News Request for Case Studies

16th January 2012

DanceXchange [dx] is developing a commissioning guidance and resource document aimed at supporting commissioners in the health sector with commissioning dance to improve health and well being. This will be a web based resource and will be promoted nationally.

We are looking for case studies of dance and health projects/programmes to include to highlight a range of approaches taken across the UK and with different age ranges. Case studies can involve any dance style or approach from regular sessions to performance projects etc. and don’t need to have been overtly health focused as long as they were successful projects that got the participants active and positively engaged through dance.  We are just looking for about 200 words on each case study but it would help if you have further more detailed information re your dance project/work on a website or that can be emailed to interested parties. We will try to include all case studies submitted in the final document  though cannot guarantee this will be possible.

We are looking for dance projects that engaged:
• Children under 5 years
• Adults
• Older People
• Disabled people

We are working to quite a tight timescale so please submit ASAP -  the deadline for info is the 24th January.

Please download and complete the template and return to jan.burkhardt@yahoo.co.uk
