Matthew Bourne’s Nutcracker! at Birmingham Hippodrome: Opportunity for young choreographers
30th November 2011
DanceXchange and Birmingham Hippodrome are offering a fantastic opportunity to develop your choreographic skills working with members of Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures company.
DEADLINE FRIDAY 2ND DECEMBER 2011
Young choreographers will take part in a series of workshops to create a ‘curtain raiser’ dance piece to be performed before the showing of Matthew Bourne’s Nutcracker! at the Birmingham Hippodrome in February.
The choreographers will be working under the direction of Clare Palethorpe with input from members of the New Adventures company who will come to Birmingham specially to work with the group. The dancers will be BTEC dance students from Walsall College.
This is an incredible chance to hone your choreography and make a piece for the big stage which will be seen by hundreds of people.
