Youth Dance Symposium hosted by ACE Dance and Music

Saturday 29th October 

mac, 12.30pm – 3.30pm

As part of the symposium there will be an exciting European youth dance showcase and programme of activity on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October, curated by ACE dance and music, in partnership with mac and Warwick Arts 

The programme includes international masterclasses, open rehearsals, film showings. There will also be performances from youth companies including ACE Youth, BCSE, W’ire, Being Frank Youth and Conpagnie Orteils de Sable, the youth company of Les Ballets Contemporains de St Etienne, who will visit the UK the week of the symposium to work with ACE youth.

The symposium will be facilitated by Jeanette Siddall, with an exciting guest panel including Gail Parmel, Artistic Director of ACE dance and music, Mirielle Barlet, Artistic Director of Les Ballets Contemporains de Saint Etienne, Compagnie Virevolte from Switzerland, programmers from across Europe and key figures in the youth dance sector in the UK.
