News Calling young dancers aged 16-19 - apply to be part of The U.Dance Ensemble!

20th September 2011

Through dx’s partnership with Youth Dance England (YDE) – the national organisation that champions and promotes dance for all children and young people – there are a number of national opportunities for young people from the West Midlands to get involved with dance.

As part of the national performance platform U.Dance 2012 , taking place at the Southbank Centre in London on the 13th to 16th July 2012, young dancers can apply to be part of the U.Dance Ensemble, a national youth company with young dancers from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Youth dance companies can also apply to perform at the event. There will be a regional selection event taking place at Regent Theatre, Stoke-on-Trent on the 29th January. Click here for more information

For more information about how to apply and details about the whole event visit www.yde.org.uk

The deadline for the Ensemble applications is 30th September 2011 - so there’s still time!
