Breathe the Beat is a new dance concept and a unique digital project which encompasses both online and offline elements to engage and inspire the next generation of dancers and enthusiasts. Online, renowned international hip-hop artist, Salah shows you how to take inspiration from your everyday surroundings and create routines using his unique PABE (Popping, Animation, Boogaloo Effect) style. Upload your video to our competition and win the chance to meet Salah himself!

Breathe the Beat Roadshows

Breathe the Beat roadshows will be travelling to the West Midlands from January to September 2012, showcasing the best competition entrants, local talent and professional dance companies. The roadshow performers will share the event with B-boy Brooke & B-girl Roxy from Plague Dance Crew – Hip Hop International World Champions and DJ Moyma.

Would you like to perform?

We are looking for a wide range of high quality dance performers and groups of any style, from hip-hop to Bhangra to perform at Breathe the Beat roadshows, solos, duets or group pieces.
Are you based in the West Midlands region?
Are you (your group) available for at least one of the roadshow dates as listed below?
Will you have a performance that will be rehearsed and ready?
You understand that no fees or expenses are paid to take part in this opportunity.

If you answer yes to all of the above questions and would like to apply, please download the application form and return to Hannah Sharpe. The deadline is rolling, but please submit ASAP and at least 8 weeks before the roadshow you would like to perform in (full details in the application form)
