An introduction to the basics of classical ballet, the concepts of core stability, turn-out, flexibility, posture and placement. Through a fun warm up and barre work, the students will learn basic co-ordination and alignment needed for the centre work at the end of each class.

Each session will allow students to become comfortable with the difficult ballet style and gain confidence.

Our adult ballet classes are taught by former members of Birmingham Royal Ballet.

If you have tap, ballet or jazz shoes, please wear them accordingly. But they’re not essential for beginner levels.

What concessions are there? You can get a concession if you’re over 60, on income support, or in full time education. Please note, you will need proof of ID.
