This mixed level class offers beginners an introduction to the basics of ballet, the concepts of core stability, turn-out, flexibility, posture and placement aswell as introducing more complex techniques, and longer sequences to further develop strength and technique for students wishing to advance further.

Information for parents: Children under 11 years must be accompanied at all times whilst at DanceXchange, and a parent/guardian must remain on the premises whilst they are in class.
What’s the 15 minute rule? : You won’t be allowed to join a class if you’re more than 15 minutes late. This is because you’ll have missed the warm-up, which increases your chance of injury.
What should I wear? Anything comfortable that lets you move freely. You can wear tracksuit bottoms, leggings, t-shirts, and vests to most classes.
If you have tap, ballet or jazz shoes, please wear them accordingly. But they’re not essential for beginner levels.
