DanceXchange Chair

DanceXchange is seeking a dynamic new Chair to lead the next phase of Board development and to be a proactive and influential ambassador for the organisation over the next five years.

Based in the centre of Birmingham, DanceXchange is a power house of dance with excellence, innovation, education and inclusion at its heart – and, together with Birmingham Hippodrome and Birmingham Royal Ballet, is part of the largest dance partnership in Britain. DanceXchange is also Co-Producer of International Dance Festival Birmingham, one of the largest dance festivals in the world.

We are looking for an inspiring, ambitious and well-connected individual with sound business acumen, outstanding communication skills, and a strong commitment to the arts, to contribute to the strategic growth of the organisation.

Applications would be welcomed from high level opinion formers and policy makers, and from senior figures in West Midlands’ top companies. Media/PR or Legal expertise would also be desirable.

This post is voluntary and unpaid, although expenses will be paid if appropriate.
