From a background in the commercial and business world I decided to apply my management skills within the Arts. I worked for a couple of years within the Education department at the Midlands Arts Centre and from that role joined DanceXchange in October 2008.

I have coordinated several exciting projects for the company but my main roles have been managing the successful tour of Barebones 6 in Spring 2009, Funny Bones in Spring/Summer 2010 and helping create the role of Office Manager.

The Barebones and Funny Bones tour were busy and great fun and I was very fortunate to work with a terrific team of dancers and production crew. My Office Manager role is very diverse too; each day is different, ranging from coordinating job advertising to contents insurance management to first aid training to IT and working with our Hippodrome colleagues.

I feel very privileged to be involved with DanceXchange at such an exciting time in its growth, with the variety of brilliant festivals and tours planned for 2011 and 2012 plus working with the very talented and enthusiastic team of people who are DanceXchange.
