Adam Rutherford

Adam trained at The Laban Centre for Movement and Dance. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Dance Theatre he became a member of Transition Dance Company, performing works by Henri Oguike, Ben Wright and Luca Silvistrini. Since Transitions he has worked with many high profiled choreographers including Matthew Bourne, Wayne Sables, Helen Parlor and Tamsin Fitzgerald, amongst others. Most recently Adam has been the rehearsal director for 2Faced Dance Company’s new triple bill ‘In the Dust’, directing the rehearsals of pieces choreographed by Tamsin Fitzgerald, Tom Dale and Freddie Opoku-Addaie. Adam has been commissioned to choreograph works for many different projects and youth companies and works in a diverse range of styles. He has ten years teaching and performing experience including ballet and contemporary technique teacher on the Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) scheme at DanceXchange.
